Bio....

 Raju J Reddy was born in Warangal Dist, Telangana, India. After the completion of M.Sc from Kakatiya University  (2002) and he pursued his Ph.D. with Prof. D. Basavaiah in the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (2008).Dr. Raju J Reddy received the prestigious 'JSPS Fellowship' from Japan with Prof. Dr. Jun'ichi Uenishi in Kyoto Pharmaceutical university & also the receiver of the renowned Marie-Curie fellowship by the European Commission with Prof. Dr. Paul W. Davies  in Uiversity of Birmingham, United Kingdom. for his postdoctoral Studies. He subsequently did post-doctoral research with Prof. KwunminChen at National Taiwan University, Taiwan. 

Dr. R. J. Reddy joined Osmania University as an Assistant Professor in 2015. His area of expertise includes asymmetric catalysis organocatalysis, photocatalysis, Organosulfur Chemistry – Aim to develop convergent methodology sulfur-containing pharmacologically active ingredients and biologically and related heterocycles and short synthesis of natural products.

Brief Bio

 Dr Raju Jannapu Reddy was born in Warangal Dist, Telangana, India. After the completion of M.Sc from Kakatiya University (2001) and he obtained his PhD with Prof. D. Basavaiah in the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (2008). Then, he was a postdoctoral researcher at National Taiwan Normal University, Kyoto Pharmaceutical University (as a JSPS fellow), Japan and the University of Birmingham (as a Marie Curie Research Fellow), UK. Since Jan 2015. His expertise in multidisciplinary areas of organic synthesis includes Morita-Baylis-Hillman (MBH) Chemistry, Asymmetric organocatalysis, total syntheses of isoquinoline natural products and Gold-catalysis.

Dr Reddy joined in Department of Chemistry, Osmania University as a UGC-Assistant Professor in 2015. Current areas of his research interest on Organosulfur Chemistry–aim to develop convergent methodologies for the synthesis of sulfur-containing pharmacologically active ingredients and biologically active heterocycles.
