Bio....
Raju J Reddy was born in Warangal Dist, Telangana, India. After the completion of M.Sc from Kakatiya University (2002) and he pursued his Ph.D. with Prof. D. Basavaiah in the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad (2008).Dr. Raju J Reddy received the prestigious 'JSPS Fellowship' from Japan with Prof. Dr. Jun'ichi Uenishi in Kyoto Pharmaceutical university & also the receiver of the renowned Marie-Curie fellowship by the European Commission with Prof. Dr. Paul W. Davies in Uiversity of Birmingham, United Kingdom. for his postdoctoral Studies. He subsequently did post-doctoral research with Prof. KwunminChen at National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
Dr. R. J. Reddy joined Osmania University as an Assistant Professor in 2015. His area of expertise includes asymmetric catalysis organocatalysis, photocatalysis, Organosulfur Chemistry – Aim to develop convergent methodology sulfur-containing pharmacologically active ingredients and biologically and related heterocycles and short synthesis of natural products.

Brief Bio
Raju Jannapu Reddy obtained his PhD from the School of Chemistry at the University of Hyderabad, India, in 2008, under the supervision of Prof. D. Basavaiah. After completing his doctoral studies, he carried out postdoctoral research at National Taiwan Normal University from Aug 2008 to Oct 2010. Following that, he was a JSPS postdoctoral fellow at Kyoto Pharmaceutical University, Japan, from Nov 2010 to Nov 2012. From Jan 2013 to Jan 2015, he held the position of Marie Curie Research Fellow at the School of Chemistry, University of Birmingham, UK. Since Jan 2015, he has been serving as a UGC Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University College of Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Additionally, he worked briefly as an R&D Chemist at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Pvt. Limited in Hyderabad from Aug 2001 to Jul 2002.
Dr. Reddy has served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for FIVE major research grants sponsored by various funding agencies, including the UGC-BSR Startup Grant (₹6 lakhs), SERB Early Career Research Award (₹33 lakhs), CSIR-EMR-II (₹29 lakhs), SERB Core Research Grant (₹37 lakhs), and DST-WOSA (₹24 lakhs; mentor), with total funding exceeding ₹130 lakhs. Recently, he secured two additional research grants under the ANRF-PAIR and ARG schemes, together worth approximately ₹1.5 crore.
